"Tyler should get his day in court," says Florence Moyle, whose nephew was also cared for by Carole DeLeon, and who suffered similar abuse to what Tyler went through in his short life. KXLY4's Karina Shagren reports.

In a deal reached with Stevens County prosecutors on Thursday night, Carole DeLeon agreed to enter two Alford pleas in the death of Tyler DeLeon.  An Alford plea means she isn't admitting guilt, but believes she would be convicted in a trial.  She now faces six years in prison.

Prosecutors have added another charge against a Stevens County woman in the death of a foster child in her care.

Stevens County foster mother Carole DeLeon is accused of starving two children in her care and has now been officially charged with murder. Prosecutors charged DeLeon Tuesday July 25th with second degree murder for the death of Tyler DeLeon, who died on his 7th birthday last year weighing just 28 pounds. News4's Melissa Luck reports.
