The heat wave in the Spokane-Coeur d'Alene area has been brutal, but just a few hours to the east, records are being set. Missoula, Montana is setting records for most days in a row over 90 degrees and most days in a row over 100 degrees. Those are just a couple of the records set or tied in western Montana. KXLY4 Chief Meteorologist Kris Crocker explains why Missoula has been so hot for so long in this edition of Forecast Focus.
